A day in Molotschna requires a few adaptations. We carried sack lunches each day,
and one day we took the time to stop on a hill to enjoy the view with our lunch.
No
public restrooms here. "Bush Stops" required the men to find places on one
side of the road, and women to go to the other. I follow Delbert Wiens and John Esau
to find a private space. At a time like this, we are reminded of the ancient Pharisaical
prayer, "I thank God that I was not made a woman."
